Khenpo Ngawang Woser came to India from Eastern Tibet when he was just 14. When he arrived in India, he immediately took ordination and entered the Deer Park shedra in Bir. After more than 12 years of study, Ngawang Odsel received the Khenpo degree. Since his achievement, he has continuously worked at the Dzongsar Shedra in Chauntra. Khenpo Ngawang Odsel is a very sociable extrovert. He is incredibly devoted to Rinpoche and has wholeheartedly undertaken the role of philosophy teacher and spiritual friend at Deer Park. Khenpo Woser will spend the winter '11 and spring '12 semesters at the University of Vienna teaching modern Tibetan and Buddhist philosophy.

Lopon Pema Longdrol is from Bhutan. He took ordination as a young man and spent many years studying at the Deer Park shedra in Bir. Following his studies, he was appointed director of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's shedra in Dewathang, South-East Bhutan. In 2010 he moved to the Khyentse Labrang in Bir to do translation work and assist in other initiatives of Khyentse Rinpoche's like the Mingtsam Tibetan program. Lopon Pema Longdrol will spend the spring of 2012 teaching Buddhist philosophy at the Khadro Ling Shedra program in Brazil.
